Since then, her son, Carlos "Dick" Knight, has brought his design and construction talents to the business. He has been responsible for expanding the services to wholesale florist, rental equipment and handling large scale Galas, weddings, conventions and events. Dick has built an outstanding reputation as an amazing floral and event designer. He prides his work on being on time, consistant and creative.
Continuing the family tradition, Dick's daughter, Sally Barker also work at Welborns. She works with the events and wedding providing sketches, proposals and designs for the clients. With a background in studio art, Sally has become a premiere event designer. She has spoken on floral design at the Culinary Institute of America, Sullivan University, NACE Meetings, and The Special Event.
